Microblading

Shayla Caldwell comes to us from North Carolina. She is certified with Real Brows 3D Eyebrow Embroidery. She is a registered Electrologist, graduating from the Electrology Institute of New England, and a licensed Esthetician graduating from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.

What is microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that dramatically corrects or fully reconstructs a lost eyebrow due to over plucking or medical reasons. Eyebrow microblading is achieved by manually depositing custom colored pigment under the top layer of the skin by a special pen. This technique does not involve the use of a machine. The overall goal of this is to achieve eyebrows with natural hair-like strokes for semi-permanent results. Results may last anywhere from 9 months to a year. Pigment in your eyebrows, like a tattoo will fade if exposed to sun. We suggest using sunblock on your eyebrows if you are in the sun for any prolonged period of time.

A 48 hour cancellation is required to cancel your appointment. There is a $100 deposit due when making your appointment. The deposit is non refundable, no exceptions. If you do not show up to your scheduled appointment or are late to your appointment, you must reschedule and pay additional deposit. No exceptions. Our scheduling is very structured and time for this service is very important. 

What to expect:

You will fill out a history card and fill out a microblading form. 

Shayla will meet with you to discuss exactly what shape eyebrows you would like. She will pencil the beautiful brows she sees for you. This is the longest part of your visit. She wants to make sure your 100% happy with what you see. Once that is done she will numb your brows and work her magic. 

You must try not to wash your eyebrows or scrub them for at least a week. A&D ointment must be applied morning and night. Your brows will be dark for a week. We suggest not doing your brows before any big event, i.e. wedding etc.

Your follow up in one month is scheduled for any touch up needed. This is part of your initial fee.

Cryotherapy

What is Cryotherapy?

Treating the skin with extreme cold temperatures has existed in the medical practice for over 100 years to remove skin tags and dark spots by using frozen Carbon Dioxide also know as C02. The use of Carbon Dioxide as a form of cryotherapy has been the focus of hundreds of studies and has been clinically proven to be safe and effective on a wide range of benign skin lesions.

CryoClear works by spraying Carbon Dioxide onto to skin, which freezes superficially at -79 C where only the epidermal layers are treated. Because of CryoClear’s shallow but effective depth of freeze, CryoClear greatly minimizes the rise of blistering, scarring and hypopigmentation that is usually associated with colder forms of cryotherapy. In as little as one treatment, we can treat indications such as skin tags, age spots and sun spots on sensitive areas like the hands, face and neck.

REZENERATE FACIAL

SKIN REJUVENATION WITH IPL TREATMENTS

Skin Rejuvenation is the ideal choice for clients seeking to reduce the effects of aging by restoring your skin’s youthful elasticity and causes your skin to exfoliate at an expedited rate to remove the outermost layers of your skin to reveal a healthier, brighter complexion.

IPL (Intense Pulse Light) uses light to diminish the appearance of broken blood vessels, age spots, redness caused by rosacea, varicose veins, and pigmentation caused by sun damage. It can also be used to diminish the appearance of other features such as unwanted freckles, birthmarks, and hair. IPL specifically targets problem areas while leaving healthy skin alone. The special light penetrates down to the second layer of your skin without harming the top layers, causing less damage than other treatment methods. There is no down time.

Following treatment you will want to avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds, chemical peels, waxing, collagen injections, products that contain Vitamin A, and any drugs that increase your risk for bleeding such as ibuprofen or aspirin.

For the best results, we suggest you do a series of IPL treatments scheduled 3-4 weeks apart.
